Catalyst Solutions to Present at MESC 2015

Fort Lauderdale, Fla. – September 1, 2015

Catalyst Solutions is proud to announce that Brian Damiani, Executive Vice President of Consulting, and Susan Taylor, Vice President of Consulting, have been selected to present at the annual Medicaid Enterprise Systems Conference (MESC) taking place this week.

This year’s Medicaid Enterprise Systems Conference is being hosted in Des Moines, Iowa, from Aug. 17 – 20. The national conference provides opportunities for state, federal, and private sector individuals to exchange ideas about Medicaid systems, health policy affected by those systems, and to participate in educational sessions involving Medicaid technology.

Damiani’s abstract is entitled “Reducing Costs Over Internal Development and Customizations,” and his session will focus on the costs, benefits, comparisons, and how to make the best of COTS and Custom and Open Source software solutions. Damiani’s extensive background in the health care payer market includes roles in enterprise architecture, technical infrastructure, and software engineering.

Taylor’s presentation will outline “Building a Cost Effective Testing Center of Excellence (COE) and Strategies for Testing.” A testing thought leader, Taylor comes with 28 years of testing experience and has leveraged her expertise in numerous health plans throughout the country. This is Susan Taylor’s second time presenting at MESC.

Taylor comments, “I am very excited to meet with everyone for the second year in a row. This year, I will provide expertise on building a testing center of excellence, providing my real life experience in accomplishing this at one of the largest payers in our insurance industry.”

Taylor will present at 8:00 am on August 18 and Damiani will present at 1:30 pm on August 19.
