He earned his PhD In Organizational Development and Leadership from the University of Arizona
Michael has a background in Human Resources leadership for nearly 20 years, working in various industries. He leads with a culture-first approach and believes strongly in the People & Culture department as being a team that builds connections and provides excellent service to the employees of the company. Michael has built multiple HR departments in his career from the ground up and specializes in building and scaling businesses strategically. Additionally, he has spearheaded efforts to help companies reach Best Places to Work status by focusing on culture and engagement.
Michael holds a PhD in Organizational Development and Leadership from the University of Arizona and a Masters in Human Resources Management from the University of Phoenix. He is certified with SHRM and PCI and is an active member of SHRM in the country.
In his spare time Michael enjoys music (listening, playing, writing, and going to live events), basketball, and spending time with his wife, two kids, dog, and cat in the Denver area.
